Finding room ideas for teen girls can be tricky. It’s completely wrong to group all teen girls into one group, but if your daughter is as basic as mine, you’ve come to the right spot! I decorated her bedroom as a surprise for her 16th birthday 3 years ago. Everything in her room is still trending, so I think I did good.

All of her furniture came from Ikea and was white. I really like Ikea furniture as it’s affordable, looks nice and is durable.
Bed: I went with the White Sagstua bed frame.
Dresser: We added this later but it was desperately needed. We went with the Malm 6 drawer dresser.
Desk: I made it so her desk could double as a vanity. To make that work we bought the Lagkapten/Alex desk and the Alex Drawer with 9 drawers.
Nightstands: I went with 2 Gladom tray tables for her nightstands.
Shelf: I got the ever so popular Lack Self
I added a ton of light as her room is in our basement. I also kept it clean and added gold so everything wasn’t 100% white.
Full-Length Mirror: I got the Toftbyn Mirror from Ikea. I decorated it with lights to give it a cute look.
Vanity Mirror: Her vanity mirror was an old mirror removed from a bathroom during renovations. I cleaned it up and added these cute lights to it.
