If you’re overwhelmed and trying to find simple deep-freeze organization tips, I’ve got you! I’m in the middle of a major spring clean up and of course, organizing my deep freeze is at the top of my list.
Don’t judge me! I have a teen son who destroys the deep freezer in the middle of the night as it’s where we keep the good food. So as you can see… my deep freezer was in desperate need of a clean-up and organization!

Step 1: Clean EVERYTHING out!
I removed a ton of empty boxes and plastic bags that were covering the food I use. After that, I had a long talk with my son about why this is just not okay!

Step 2: Decide how you’re going to organize your deep freezer.
I use 2 plastic bins from the Dollar Store that I place on the bottom of the deep freezer. 1 bin holds all of my seafood (haddock, shrimp, salmon, etc.) while the other bin holds all of my chicken items. My wire basket holds all of my ground beef. This makes my life easier when needing to grab something out for dinner.

Step 3: Organize your deep freezer!
Now you get to put everything back into your deep freezer! As I mentioned above, I have 3 spots to keep meats separate. I then stack my son’s fav frozen items on the mini shelf.

What are your best deep-freeze organization ideas? I would love to hear about them in the comment section!
